Safety showers
Safety showers are essential equipment in workplaces where employees are exposed to hazardous substances such as acids, corrosive chemicals, fumes, dust or metal or wood splinters. In the event of contact with these substances, an emergency shower must be quickly accessible to rinse the eyes or skin in order to limit or prevent permanent injury.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
- Safety showers are designed to provide first aid on site in the event of an accident.
- When the shower is activated, a continuous volumetric flow starts to provide maximum rinsing efficiency.
- Safety showers are available in several models: eyewash units, full-body showers, portable showers, standalone showers, etc.
- Safety showers comply with European and American safety standards (EN 15154 and ANSI Z 358.1).
BENEFITS:
- Safety showers can be used to prevent serious injuries caused by hazardous substances in the workplace.
- Safety showers are easy to use and operate in a single action, which saves time and minimises risk.
- Safety showers can be installed in the most critical locations for rapid accessibility.
- Safety showers are manufactured from high-quality materials to guarantee their durability and reliability.
APPLICATIONS:
- Safety showers are used in a wide variety of workplaces, including manufacturing plants, laboratories, research centres, warehouses, chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, etc.

Mobile retentions for containers and drums: a practical, effective solution to protect the environment
In many industrial sectors, companies regularly handle liquids that are hazardous to the environment. In this context, it is essential to provide safety equipment to avoid any risk of pollution. That is where mobile retentions for containers and drums come in.
Mobile retentions are liquid-containment devices for liquids held in containers or drums. They are used to protect the environment in the event of a leak or accidental spill. These devices are available in different sizes and shapes to meet the specific needs of each company.
Mobile retentions for containers and drums are manufactured from high-grade materials that guarantee their resistance to different types of chemicals. They are often built in galvanised steel or high-density polyethylene for optimal durability.
Mobile retentions are practical, effective safety equipment because they can be moved easily as needs change. They can be used in warehouses, plants, construction sites or any other location where hazardous liquids are handled.
The main advantage of mobile retentions is their ability to contain spills or leaks quickly and effectively. These devices are fitted with raised edges that prevent liquids from spreading into the environment. Mobile retentions are therefore an ideal choice for companies seeking to comply with environmental regulations.

Regulations on the storage of hazardous products
For the storage of polluting and hazardous products, regulation is essential
Chapter II: Prevention of accidents and accidental pollution, including by rainwater
Article 10 Any storage of a liquid liable to pollute water or soil must be associated with a retention capacity whose volume must be equal to the greater of the following two values:
- 100% of the capacity of the largest tank
- 50% of the capacity of the associated tanks.
This provision does not apply to wastewater treatment basins.
For the storage of containers with a unit capacity of 250 litres or less, the retention capacity must be at least equal to:
- in the case of flammable liquids, with the exception of lubricants, 50% of the total capacity of the drums.
- in other cases, 20% of the total capacity of the drums.
- in other cases a minimum of 800 litres, or equal to the total capacity when that capacity is less than 800 litres.
The retention capacity must be tight to the products it may contain and must resist the physical and chemical action of the fluids. The same applies to its shut-off device, which must be kept closed.
The tightness of the associated tank(s) must be checkable at all times.
Products recovered in the event of an accident may only be discharged under conditions that comply with the order, or must be disposed of as waste.
Tanks or containers holding incompatible products must not share the same retention.
